The ADSL X6 integrates an ADSL 2/2+ modem, a wireless-G access point, a router, NAT and SPI firewalls, and a four-port 10/100 Ethernet switch into a single cost-effective product. The F designation in the model number indicates the product is compliant with Europe's Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS). The wireless access point and Ethernet ports can be used to attach wireless clients, computers, game stations, a switch, a hub, or any combination of those devices to provide high-speed ADSL Internet access for up to 253 devices. The ADSL modem works with any standard ADSL service: G.dmt, G.lite, ANSI T1.413 Issue 2, ADSL2 (G.992.3), ADSL2+ (G.992.5). A user-friendly Install Assistant is included.
